My First Moon Shot

When I first picked up my 70-300mm lens I was excited... I now had something that might get me a decent shot of the moon.

I ended up spending about 2 hours playing around with it... taking a couple of shots, putting them on the computer and then going back out and doing it again.  It was a bit frustrating at first and I even spent some time going over some posts at Texas Photo Forum to find out how others had done it in the past.

Eventually I got something that I liked... and got tired of getting eaten by mosquitoes...

It's not perfect... but for a first attempt it'll work.
